Job Description

The Trust Hospital is seeking experienced and dynamic staff to fill the following vacancy: Security Coordinator

Key Responsibilities

  • Plans, oversees and coordinates security activities in the hospital
  • Supervises external security officers in the performance of their duties to ensure the security and safety of life and property of staff and clients
  • Organises orientations and on-site training for external security officers on the hospital’s policies, values and security requirement.
  • Ensures the implementation and compliance of security policies, procedures and programmes of the hospital
  • Liaises with managers of the external security companies
  • Maintains record of up-to-date knowledge of threats/risks assessment to property, assets and personnel
  • Investigates security breaches and report on same to Management
  • Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time

Qualification Required & Experience

The suitable candidate must possess the following:

  • A diploma or degree in security management or in a related field
  • A considerable experience of security related matters for not less than 5 years
  • Police and military experience will be an added advantage
  • Experience as a Security Coordinator or Manager for a corporate institution
  • Must be 40 years or mroe
  • Experience in CCTV and digital surveillance Network in the Ghanaian security space
  • Ability to conduct corporate investigations
  • Knowledge of technology and digital security
  • Security intelligence
  • Good command over the English language
  • Critical and analytic
